Hi
this week has been better even though we are now in the bad weather part of the year, I've been more active with regular runs and gym circuits. The runs this week have not been long as I'm building back up gradually just 3-4 milers but I am enjoying them.
I also had one of those moments again this week...I was on the running machine when a woman got on the next and smiled I smiled back, she carried on looking straight at me...I kept smiling and she said " your nose is bleeding!" I'd scratched inside of my nose and nicked it, was so busy running not noticed blood all over my face! this is my world :)
hope its been a good weekend for all

a goal to work for Scott Snowdonia trail marathon
a life update!
I've taken some steps to try push forward again(yep all had slid downhill since injury), so spoke to therapist and I need give some goals to work on again, so today I booked my place in the Snowdonia trail marathon in july 2016 I ran in it this year and enjoyed it although I want beat my time! (I really struggled).
Also I need get back to the gym not just for running fitness but the circuits and squats help! but socially I've cut myself off again last few months, its not been helping my depression and anxiety so going gradually get back to going.
I need to take part in more events too so over next few months will be looking at entering some more, especially anything where I get social interaction...it scares the hell out me but need do it, asd I want a life again rather than depression
hope this finds all well
if anyone likes the idea of running in snowdonia trail marathon here is the link, let me know if running too!

DRYU -10Litre Waterproof Dry Bag - REVIEW
Hi Folks
I'm pleased to post this review of the DRYU 10 litre dry bag, dry bags really are an essential piece of kit.
There is also a bit of misconception about dry bags, with some folks who have not used them thinking they need to be setting off on some survival expedition to own one! you do not dry bags are for everyone, be it outdoors activities where you want keep items dry, to just going the gym or to work and not arriving with items water damaged or clothes soaked from a sudden shower.
First impressions
The DRYU bag has a double use as either a bag to use on its own or as a sturdy dry bag for you rucksack/daysack, I note this as some other bags are much thinner and only a liner(which tend to rip easy), the daysack also has a clip on sling strap.
I got it in the yellow/gold, I like bright colours for dry bag's as if you do use it outdoors the in poor light easy to find.
I've also got video of testing it I'll upload soon as I can.
Overall
a great sturdy dry bag, this makes such a difference to some other flimsy ones on the market. buy once and buy well!

November focus..back on my feet
Hi all
well November is here, and after being really limited on what I could do exercise wise due to injury in October lets hope for a better month.
October I managed do the Ron Hill challenge of at least a mile a day, but kept it slow and low miles, this month leg feels a lot better so going gently increase the miles although not push pace too much. I need get some cardio back and also lose some belly! as my weight has gone up while injured, feel bad = eat bad with me and its not a good combination!
I'm also going try October behind and try pull myself together and get my thoughts and goals on track, last month depression really had some bad days,weeks...and anxiety too. I want life to improve so back to therapy books and trying push forward with new things, social interaction is still hard and I've slipped back so need work on it this month.
Hope this finds everyone well, and I hope its a good month for all
